I heard that there is going to be a 5th generation of even weirder looking Pokemon =O. Btw i heard this from people in the server asdf. I am pretty sure that theres going to be more generations. Whta you guys think

I'm pretty sure Pokemon isn't going to stop here. Despite that the show is losing interest to many (other than younger audiences), the games are still going strong. Diamond/Pearl are still hot, especially with the addition of online play. Pokemon as a series, I doubt it will end with four generations, if it is to die Nintendo will have to make a failing generation compared to the others.

I think that, if there is a 5th generation, it will be 90% monsters that've already been created. After all, most animals are no longer original, with most of the 4th gen being repeats or nearly repeats anyway.

At some point they will just make a bunch of new pokemon that are all the other animals

Eh... I don't really like the "forme" idea. Deoxys is good with it, same for Castform, Shellos, Burmy, but having Shaymin and Giratina have version-based forms just like Deoxys is just being uncreative.

I liked the addition of Leafeon and Glaceon, never found it pointless. Though, I did find it very strange that more than half of the Pokemon, DP added, were evolutions/pre-evolutions.

I wouldn't really mind if the 5th Generation added loads of new Unown. They seem to be a group separate from the group called Pokemon.

But, I would mind if they were very lazy and only added Pokemon evolving to or from already-existing Pokemon. They'd be ruining the good idea that is Pokemon, because many Pokemon have enough evolutions and are fine with them. I'd believe it to be justified to make Pokemon fan-games and get people to stop playing the official 5th and so on generation Pokemon games.

I miss whoever artists they had that created the RBY and GSC Pokemon. Hey, if they wanted, I bet they'd create Mewthree, which seems way better than some evolution of Electvire. After all, Mew and Mewtwo aren't direct evolutions, but can be a good part of a Pokemon RPG's story. And they were pretty interesting in RBY. Mewthree would continue on that story, and make the Pokemon games a bit more about Pokemon, and not too much about battling. (No offense, to those who are really competitive about Pokemon.)

They'll just start adding evos and pre-evos to the few pokemon that don't have any yet. The rest of the pokemon will be filled up by even more freaking worthless legends. >_>
